Areej, a London based Moroccan-Sudanese singer/songwriter, debuted her single, Guided, in 2021, and has announced the release of her 2022 EP, Guided By Our Fears, which she describes as 'all about embracing your feelings'.

Growing up surrounded by music and culture, both classical Arabic music and R&B, and citing Erykah Badu as an inspiration, Areej's songwriting is inspired by the neo-soul style of the 1990s and is an exercise in coming to terms with one's experiences and feelings.
